What ducted work has Delta Temp done in Currimundi?
We have installed ducted systems in Currimundi homes, both replacements and new installs. They were Mitsubishi Electric and Fujitsu systems in the 10 kW and 14 kW range, and each one had an AirTouch 5 zone control upgrade. Each job was a home, not a commercial site.

How does Delta Temp quote ducted air conditioning in Currimundi?
Every ducted quote starts with a free site inspection. We look at the zones, check the roof space and talk through how you use the house. The quote is fixed after the inspection. Most Sunshine Coast homes land between $11,000 and $18,000 installed.
Price depends on home size, zones and roof space, and larger homes can reach about $22,000. We do not give a final number over the phone, because roof space and zoning change the job. Is AirTouch 5 worth adding to a new ducted system?
AirTouch 5 is the zone controller we fitted on every Currimundi job. It lets you turn zones on and off, so you are not cooling rooms nobody is using. If you only use some of the house at a time, zoning is worth having.
Zoning also ties into sizing. We add up the heat load of every zoned room at about 150 W per square metre, then size the system at about 70% of that total, because the zones are never all running flat out at once. A 14 kW system suits about 130 m2 of zoned rooms across 6 zones. The inspection adjusts for insulation, glass, ceiling height and orientation.
What does the workmanship warranty cover on a Currimundi install?
