What split system installs have you done in Kings Beach?
We have swapped old splits for new Fujitsu units, including a 6 kW and a 7.1 kW, and fitted a 7.1 kW Mitsubishi Electric. We have also installed multi-head systems and replaced a multi-head. The work covers homes, businesses and body corporates.
Most of it is replacement. One home job paired a new 7.1 kW Fujitsu split with rustproofing. Another home job replaced a multi-head system and two splits, again with rustproofing. A third home job combined air conditioning with electrical works, including a switchboard upgrade. Kings Beach sits close to the water, so salt air is a fair reason to ask about rustproofing.
How much does a split system cost to install in Kings Beach?
Most single splits land between $2,000 and $3,700 installed, and the largest 8 to 9.5 kW units reach about $5,200, depending on size, brand and the install. Multi-head systems are quoted separately because they depend on how many rooms you want served.

Should I replace my old split with the same size?
Not always. Like for like is a fair starting point, but the right size depends on the room and how it is used, not the label on the old unit. We talk through what the unit serves and size the replacement to suit.

Is a multi-head system worth it in Kings Beach?

What warranty comes with a split system installation?
