What split system installs have you done in Caloundra?
Our Caloundra splits have been for businesses and body corporates. We have fitted a 2.5 kW Fujitsu, a 5 kW Gree and a 7.1 kW Gree, done other split replacements, and installed a new multi-head system.
Most of this work was replacement, including units inside body corporate properties. The sizes ran from small 2.5 kW units up to 7.1 kW. The multi-head job was a new installation rather than a swap. Is a multi-head system a good choice for a business or unit?
A multi-head system runs several indoor units from one outdoor unit. It can suit a property with limited room for separate outdoor units. We have installed a new multi-head system in Caloundra for a business or body corporate.
The trade-off is that the indoor units share one outdoor unit, so the system has to be sized as a whole. For a single room, one split is usually simpler. If you are weighing it up, call us and we will give you a straight answer on which suits the space.
What warranty comes with a split system installation?
Our installations carry a 10 year workmanship warranty. It covers defects in our installation work only. It does not cover equipment faults, which fall under the manufacturer warranty, or fair wear and tear or a lack of servicing. Full terms are at deltatemp.com.au/warranty/.
